Air 35 along with several other surrounding community emergency service personnel welcomed home one of America's bravest, Lieutenant Patrick McCarthy of the United States Army 103rd Engineer Company/94th Engineer Battalion. After several airline delays, Lt. McCarthy was greeted at the PA Turnpike offramp at 11:00 PM by several emergency apparatuses and escorted throughout Plymouth and Whitemarsh Townships with lights and sirens blaring. Air 35 was stationed along Germantown Pike, across from the Wawa, awaiting his arrival. Once he passed, Air 35 joined in the parade back to Lt. McCarthy's family's house. Conshohocken Fire Company No. 2 would like to personally thank Lieutenant McCarthy for serving and protecting our country.
